The top desert sights to visit in Wadi Rum Protected Area
Arabic: Ain Abu Aineh
Lawrence Spring is a natural spring that sits in the shade of the cliff and still serves as an important watering hole for Bedouin and their camels. There are also important inscriptions located nearby. Climb the rocky path to the spring and be rewarded with fantastic views of the desert. Lawrence Spring was named after Lawrence of Arabia.

Khazali Canyon is a narrow canyon in the mountainside, featuring Thamudic, Nabatean, and Islamic inscriptions as well ancient petroglyphs depicting humans and animals.
Arabic: Rgabit Alwadak
Small Arch is a natural rock arch with sweeping views of the desert. It is also known as Little Rock Bridge.
At Lawrence House you can see the remains of a small building erected on the ruins of an ancient Nabatean structure. The structure was used as a rest house by Nabatean traders. Lawrence of Arabia allegedly slept here during the Arab Revolt. The views from rocks above and the viewpoint are spectacular.

Natural rock bridge. You can climb to the top for a terrific photo opportunity and an amazing view of the surrounding desert.
Arabic: Siq Abu Khashaba
Fig Canyon is an hourglass shaped canyon and a nice spot to go for a walk. The walk through the canyon takes around 30-40 minutes.
Natural rock bridge near the top of Jebel Burdah. The hike to the arch is challenging but well worth it, providing the ultimate bird's eye view of Wadi Rum.
The highest point in Jordan at 1836 meters above sea level, right on the Jordanian-Saudi border. Visitors enjoy climbing and trekking in this remote area, and you can even see the Red Sea from the top.
Jabal Al-Has is located in the Al-Forah area of Wadi Rum, close to the border with Saudi Arabia. If you love hiking this is the place for you. You don't need to be experienced or fit to climb the area and the view from the top is quite breathtaking. Some say that is the best view in Wadi Rum.
Sunset is our favourite time of the day in Wadi Rum. As the sun sets behind the mountains, the desert lights up in shades of orange and red.
