Entering Wadi Rum Protected Area
The turn off for Wadi Rum is near Ar Rashediyah, then follow this desert road to Wadi Rum Visitor Centre.
All visitors entering to the Protected Area of Wadi Rum must first pass through the Wadi Rum Visitor Centre and pay an entrance fee (7 JD per adult or free with the Jordan Pass).
Once you pass the Visitor Centre continue driving around 7km until you reach Wadi Rum Village.

The most convenient way to get around Jordan is by renting a car. Driving in southern Jordan is pretty straightforward and most road signs have English translations.
